India and Sri Lanka will face off in the 2nd T20I of the series on Saturday, February 26.

A win here will seal the streak for the home team

Ruturaj Gaikwad has been dropped from the show

In a bid to seal the streak, Team India will host Sri Lanka in the 2nd T20I of the three-match series in Dharamsala on Saturday, February 26. After a big win in the opener of the T20I, India are the favorites in the penultimate T20I and a big win will come as no surprise to the fans.

Despite missing several first-choice players, India dominated proceedings in the opening match and netted a whopping 199 on the board. Ichan Kishan shone with the bat and scored 89 of 56. SL only hit 137 and lost by a hefty margin of 62 runs.

As the 2nd T20I approaches, both teams will continue to miss the services of a few players. BCCI has confirmed that Ruturaj Gaikwad is suffering from a wrist injury and is ruled out of the series. He was replaced by Mayank Agarwal. Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Chahar are two other players who have been dropped from the series.

SL will be without spinner Maheesh Theekshana and drummer Kusal Mendis. Versatile star Wanindu Hasaranga was already off the show after contracting COVID-19 in Australia.

The home team might make some changes in the playing XI despite a big win as Ravi Bishnoi might get a chance. He was surprisingly benched for the series opener.
