On Thursday night, the Scots had won 74-32 in the first test and as a result headed for Friday’s game as big favorites at Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

Head coach Tamsin Greenway named the same start seven times 24 hours earlier and the Scots are off to a good start again.

Attack on Goal Niamh McCall scored the first goal from the start, giving the Thistles a 19-4 lead after the first quarter.

At halftime, the home side were leading 35-14, which allowed Greenway to change the roster and try out different combinations.

Claire Maxwell’s team never took their foot on the accelerator and won with 39 points, vice-captain Emily Nicholl named player of the match.

Earlier today, the Thistles Under-21s beat the Isle of Man 81-25 in one spot.
