LAHORE – Pakistan Blind cricket team beat South Africa Blind by 8 wickets in the 2nd T20 International played at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Monday.
In the morning, the Pakistan blind cricket team again won the coin toss (two in a row) and once again decided to play first. South Africa’s blind cricket team posted 109 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets in the 20 overs allowed. Bhule Bhidla was the main shooter for the visitors side as he scored 28 runs off 33 balls while Fredrik Andreas slammed 24 runs off 27 balls. Sajid, Israr and Zafar each claimed a wicket.
In response, Pakistan easily reached the target of 110 runs in just 15.3 overs for the loss of two wickets. Zafar Iqbal was the star with the bat as he hit a stunning 44 runs on 53 balls while Muhammad Rashid hit 30 runs on 30 balls. Anathi Xelelo got the only wicket for South Africa. For his brilliant batting performance, Zafar Iqbal was named Player of the Match.
