How this could help a possible season 7

title=We anticipate having more to share on a SEAL Team Season 6 will premiere at some point this summer – but there’s more to it than meets the eye.

In particular, we are talking here about how said premiere date could be very important in influencing the future; namely, a possible season 7. Nothing is confirmed about season 7 yet, and there might even be a movie before we get to that. Still, we know David Boreanaz’s drama is one of Paramount+’s most popular shows and if that’s really the case, it makes sense to dig into it any way you can.

Picking a first window for a show like this is key, and that’s why we think Season 6 went into production a bit earlier than what we’ve seen in the past around the time of CBS. We think Paramount+ would like the show in the fall, as they’ve identified that there are the most ratings opportunities there. Think in terms of promoting the NFL, the new Yellowstone prequel at the end of the year, and also viewers used to seeing new episodes of this show around this time. The more viewers, the more likely there is to be a season 7.

For the moment, no one has announced that season 6 will be the last; the only real question we have is about the long-term status of Max Thieriot, who we at least know is a part of the upcoming season. We’ll have to wait and see how his new show land of fire rates before you can dive further.

In other news…

Boreanaz spent all week making an upcoming episode! He continues this tradition, while of course continuing to play Jason Hayes.
