How many missions should we get?
Above all, priority #1 is to solve the big cliffhanger at the end of season 5. There is no other way out! We need to better understand who lives and who dies after the cliffhanger, and what the long-term ramifications are. We’re going to go on and say again that the person we’re most worried about at the start of the season is Clay, and that’s because Max Thieriot has another project coming to CBS.
Once we get to the other side of that cliffhanger, how should things go for the rest? Could we have a number of isolated missions, or just one that runs throughout the year?
We have come to understand that over the years the SEAL Team The creative team does a really good job of keeping people on their toes and ultimately we don’t think that’s going to change. We don’t think the writers will actually commit to either idea. We’ll likely see a few different missions throughout the season, and they’ll be mixed in with what’s happening for Bravo at home. The reason it’s so important for the show to do this is because we can’t forget that Jason and these characters live in two different worlds. It’s not just about who they are when operating in the field; it’s about how it all affects them at home.
Fingers crossed, we will have the chance to see all kinds of stories from this world later this year!
