Everything we know so far about season 6 and

(Pocket-lint) – In the scrabble to deliver gripping TV drama about the US Navy SEALs, it’s the SEAL team who have succeeded and others – like History’s Six – have volunteered.

SEAL Team Six found itself in the spotlight after Bin Laden’s raid in 2011, but enjoyed legendary status for many years. Technically called the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), there’s no shortage of action in SEAL Team’s on-screen portrayal.

Led by David Boreanaz – yes, Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer – as Master Chief Jason Hayes, Season 5 left everything hanging. So does SEAL team charlie mike?

Here’s everything you need to know, how you can catch up, and what to expect.

Is there a SEAL Team Season 6?

Yes, season 6 has been confirmed. It was confirmed by Paramount+ on February 1.

Isn’t there also a SEAL Team movie?

It is also affirmative. On February 15, 2022, CBS Studios Announced that he would produce a standalone film for the SEAL Team television series.

It will be an exclusive for Paramount+, following the move of SEAL Team from CBS to the streaming platform and it seems the goal is to drive more subscribers to Paramount+ with this type of content.

The good news is that the movie comes from the same team as the TV series, but we don’t currently know how they will interact. There is speculation that the film will tie the events at the end of Season 5 to a new era, giving the series the chance to introduce new characters.

This partly comes from the wording of the ad saying that CBS would “expand the universe of storytelling,” though that may just be a reference to it releasing SEAL Team content in a different format.

When is SEAL Team Season 6 Release Date?

That we don’t know. We also don’t know when the movie’s release date is and we don’t know which will come first.

Obviously, whichever release comes first will clear up confusion about how the plot will unfold, unless it’s all a subplot or flashback, rather than a linear continuation.

Pretty much the only confirmation of activity was a post on instagram by David Boreanaz saying that returning to the SEAL Team studio – now deleted – on March 28.

What is the cast of SEAL Team Season 6?

Again, it’s unknown, but it’s believed that Max Thieriot – Clay Spencer – will be there according to deadline. But with another project — Fire Country — where Thieriot will star and produce, the character’s time on SEAL Team might be limited.

Other major stars – including Boreanaz himself – are expected to return. This includes Jessica Pare (Mandy Ellis), Neil Brown Jr (Ray Perry), AJ Buckley (Sonny Quinn), and Toni Trucks (Lisa Davis) in lead roles.

However, given how Season 5 ended, we are faced with a cliffhanger in terms of storytelling.

As for the movie, again, we don’t know who will be involved where.

What is the best streaming device for your TV? Our main recommendation is the Amazon Fire TV 4K Max Stick. Also excellent are the Google Chromecast with Google TVthe Roku Express 4Kthe Apple TV 4K and the Amazon Fire TV Stick.

What will be the plot for season 6 of SEAL Team?

Like we said, we don’t know how season 6 or the movie will pan out. Currently, there are no specific details on how the story will play out, so the best we can do is speculate. There are spoilers belowso if you haven’t finished season 5, then go read something else.

Season 5 ends abruptly. With a run of 14 episodes instead of 22 (for the first two seasons), 20 (Season 3), and 16 (Season 4), it feels like things have kind of been cut.

And that’s exactly where we left Bravo Team, on the ground in Mali, with RPGs raining down on them in ambush.

If SEAL Team wanted to go out in a blaze of glory, that would definitely be an endgame for the script, but confirmation from the movie and Season 6 tells us that someone – something – survives.

With Clay Spenser saying he wanted out of Bravo Team to spend more time with Stella and the baby and with Jason Hayes suffering from Breaker Syndrome, the door was already open for a change in Bravo Team.

Outside of the team, Hayes has just taken steps to establish his relationship with Mandy Ellis, but if that doesn’t happen, no one watching the show will be surprised – the subplot of the whole thing. SEAL team has been on the pressure affecting personal relationships.

In truth, we don’t know where the show is going – we just know that it’s moving on, and the SEAL team is definitely going charlie mike.

How can I catch up with the SEAL team?

SEAL Team originally aired on CBS in the US and Sky Max in the UK. It’s also been on the respective catch-up platforms, but with CBS All Access transitioning to Paramount+ on March 4, 2021, you’ll need to head over to Paramount+ to catch up on the action.

For those in the UK, SEAL Team Season 1-5 is available on Now. Whether it will stay on the platform or move to Paramount+ with the UK launch remains to be seen – but we expect it to leave the Sky-owned platform. Paramount+ is due to launch in the UK on June 22, 2022.
